Chaos leads to calm

The cool fire burns bright.

Gentle pain walks by your side,

harshly caressing tender truths.

Unspoken screams are caught

He sits alone on the edge

       of a smoldering Earth.

Thoughts of love and life

              flow through him,                              

                           crashing.

 Memories dance around the fires,            

                   swirl with the smoke,            

                  glow with the embers.            

                 The wind stirs,

          tugging at his coat,

           moving him along.

               A guiding hand.

            Each step erases the last.           

      Never to be followed.

                  To start anew.

         The end of one life,

                begins another.

The temperature rises

             Sweat drips

Eyes meet,

Hands touch

The path is chosen

            Blood flows

Hard to focus

Breathing quickens

Inhale the choices

Exhale the worry

Words left unspoken

Senses heightened

Passion pulls

Bodies move

Guided by rhythm

Driven by the moment

           Energy drained

Lust lingers

Fueled by the fire

Across endless oceans

Beyond vast fields

He watches

            He guides

Always there, always helping

Standing tall and proud

The protector

The hunter

Lost in a world

I find that I am stuck

in an unfamiliar place.

A world without hate,

a world with no face.

It speaks with a voice that

is loud and unclear

Hope fills the words.

They're also laced with fear

The people of this land

Stand together and are strong.

But under the façade,

I can see something's wrong

This world is unique

I feel very alone

But one thing that's strange

Is I feel right at home

Silence

Blades glisten

Though covered in shadow

Birds chirp in the distance

Voices heard

a dull roar

Take to the roof

Breathing heavy

Must keep moving

Building to building

Target found

Too many people

Stalk and wait

Night falls

Mist rolls in

Darkness provides cover

Seconds pass

Target reacquired

Slip in quietly

Death approaches

Hold him down

Screams are muffled

Blades release

Life slips away

Requiescat in Pace

Bouncer

A giggle

A laugh

No innocence

A shot 

A hit

Time to move

First calm

Then red

The color of anger

It lunges

It destroys

Life fades away

Was red

Now yellow

Time to continue on

Welcome to the end

Walking alone

Wisps of smoke surround you

Cool air chills your blood

Light starts to fade

Vision blurs

The taste of blood rises

Metal... Copper...

Getting harder to breathe

Trying to move

Being ignored

Nerves are on fire

Muscles no longer respond

People are calling your name

Crying and screaming

Holding you close

Tears are falling

The air leaves you

Orion

Guiding Men

Pointing them towards their Goal

Telling them to Follow the Wind

Rising when the World Sleeps

Standing High          

            Standing Tall

Falling Before the Mist comes

He is Orion

He is the Hunter

Soldier

An explosion

Debris covers the ground

Dust clings to everything

Life hangs in the balance

Duck and roll

Take cover

A bullet flies by

You close your eyes

Focus

Your brain is screaming at you to run

You stand and move

Shots are fired

The wind has your feet

Nothing will slow you down

Left then right                       

                         Cover to cover

Target acquired

Inhale...                                          

Target sighted

Safety off

One..two..three rounds let loose

                                                 Exhale...

Time seems to slow

Seconds turn to minutes

Eternity
